I was shopping in Trinoma Mall when I heard someone singing on stage. His voice is so relaxing and soothing. His name is Johnoy Danao. He was singing his original songs and some covers. It was good. I was amazed when he sang "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. I'm really a sucker for good covers. I am now a fan!
According to his wikipedia article, Johnoy became famous because of his podcasts. It was in March 2011 when the first episode of "Good Times: Acoustic" was launched with DJ Mo Twister. After 6 episodes it became the #1 podcast in the Philippines.
Johnoy performed with this harmonica guy. I don't know his name but he's also great. His harmonica style is like Alanis Morissette.
