2012 NatGeo Earth Day Run at Bonifacio Global City

I really miss running so I decided to join the 2012 NatGeo Earth Day Run. This is officially my first run this year. I decided to run 3 kilometers only because I love the yellow NatGeo singlet for 3k. I did not like the grey or black design. I paid PhP600 for the registration. According to the organizer 8,000 people registered for this event.

I woke up early today to attend this event. 3k gun start was at 6:30AM. The event started on time and that's good. I do not like a delayed event. I saw some beautiful candidates of Miss Earth and some unknown male models.

I was very happy to see some familiar faces. I accidentally saw Encee, Ryan and Juvy. We immediately took a picture of ourselves. We are camwhores LOL.

I finished the 3K race in 19 minutes+. My goal was 15 minutes but I was still happy since I did not have any practice. The hot weather made it more difficult to run. I was sweating too much but I love it. Sweating is good because it is our body's cleansing and cooling mechanism.

We ate free cereals and drank free Sustagen Premium after the race. We were disappointed because there were few freebies.

We met the champions of the race.

We took pictures of the Miss Earth candidates.

Foreigners can't stand the heat! Ahaha

We were so tired and decided to eat breakfast! It was so satifying.

What I Like About This Run:

• Very organized
• Started on time
• Good distance markers
• Plenty water stations
• Miss Earth candidates were present.

What I Do Not Like:

• Very few freebies compared to Rio's run =(
• Too soft sound system
