Beitou Thermal Valley or Geothermal Valley 地熱谷 is a volcanic crater filled with steaming natural sulfuric hot spring water. This is one of my favourite spots in Taipei. I love the natural view and ambiance of the place. It's very easy to visit. It's just one MRT ride from Taipei Main Station.
I also visited Tamsui Old Street. It is located in New Taipei City (Taipei County). It's 5 minute walk from Tamsui MRT station. This place is surrounded by beautiful coffee shops and restaurants located next to the riverbanks. You can also taste a wide array of Taiwanese snacks and traditional dishes in this area.
