Marlon Alexander Stöckinger (pronounced as Stocking-jer) is a Filipino-Swiss racing driver, who raced for Status Grand Prix in the 2012 GP3 Series and currently driving for Lotus F1 Team Juniors in the 2013 World Series by Renault. He is the first Filipino to win a formula race in Europe. He is 22 year old and a proud Pinoy!
I attended his fans day last January 11, 2014 (Saturday) at the Greenbelt activity center. There was a registration process and only the first 250 people were allowed to enter the venue. The place was jam-packed as expected. Some of his fans came from very far places. Media people were there and he was interviewed first. I am surprised that he can speak straight Filipino. There were trivia games about Marlon and a lot of prizes like Nokia cellphones and Timex watches were given away. I really enjoyed it. We are proud very because he is representing the Philippines very well.
This girl gave Marlon a book about racing. She's a die hard fan.
Me and Marlon. He is a little taller than me. I think he is 5'8". I looked at his skin and he really has good skin. I think this is because of his Swiss blood. His teeth are straight and very white (better than mine!). He is very kind and I just feel that he is destined to enter Philippines showbiz in the future.
